After a long winter of gales, high seas and rain, we are starting to see the first glimpses of Spring in the yellow and gold flowers of the gorse. The days are getting longer and we will start to see the sea pinks and kidney vetch bringing colour to the cliffs.

This is a wonderful time of year at Carnewas. The staircase is open, and after a winter of big seas, why not come and search for washed up driftwood and other sea gifts? You never know what you might find. Wander the cliff paths, enjoying the magnificent views across the bays of Bedruthan and then on to Parkhead. Admire the seabirds as they dive and swoop over the waves and steep cliffs.

On sunnier days, enjoy Cornwall's most spectacular beach and when the weather rolls in, watch the Atlantic Ocean unleash the force that formed the giant's stepping stones.

Afterwards, come and join us and relax in our tea rooms and garden, with our uninterrupted views of the North Cornish Coast. Enjoy a freshly made lunch, one of our daily specials, or just tea and cakes. Also, why not try one of our freshly homemade cream teas?
